Custom MC Jersey

I designed this custom jersey for the MC of a powerlifting event, building the design around his personality and the way people recognize him during competitions. The front takes inspiration from classic American sports jerseys, combining the Powerlifting Series identity with his MC name and event details. On the back, I made his personal signature the focus: oversized BARCOE lettering and his recognizable “LET’S GO, LET’S GO, LET’S GO” callout, something closely associated with the energy he brings to the platform. I wanted the jersey to feel personal rather than like standard event merchandise. The black, gold and white palette keeps it connected to the competition environment, while the oversized typography and illustrated graphics give it enough presence to be recognized from across the venue. The design had to work while he was actively hosting the event, but also function as a piece that represents him. Seeing it worn on the competition floor was the final part of the project — the personality of the MC became part of the garment itself.
